Founded in 2014 in New York by Fabien Dufils, Prototype Films develops films, commercials and brand projects driven by a refined cinematic vision, innovation and studio-level production standards.

 

In September 2025, Prototype launched its AI Film Lab, a creative R&D unit dedicated to integrating AI into contemporary audiovisual production pushing new aesthetics, languages, and custom AI-Powered based workflows.

 

At its core, Sidequest, led by art director Inès and executive producer Christophe, has been shaping hybrid AI-driven processes for the creative industry since 2022, blending live-action and CGI with cutting-edge technologies.

 

Operating between New York and Paris, Prototype Films pioneers a more agile, elegant and innovative approach from branded content to fiction delivering fast timelines with uncompromising visual quality.
